Artist Tas Severis gave a demonstration of acrylic painting with a palette knife on Tuesday 3rd March 2015, creating a large finished painting in around 2 hours.
The audience of 24 members of the society was fascinated by his bold technique.
Tas generously gave a print of one of his paintings as a raffle prize.
