Painting Groups
The following groups currently run for members in the studio at St Luke's House. Note that the studio is on the second floor of the building, accessed by stairs only - there is no lift. Easels, boards, tables, and chairs are provided, but you should bring your own materials. For groups employing a model there is a small contribution to cover the model's fee. Refreshments are available in our well appointed kitchen. The following groups run every week.
Monday 10am - 1.30pm - Monday Group - bring your own work and get on with it!
Monday 7 - 9pm - Monday Portrait Group - 3 week pose with clothed model
Tuesday 10am - 12.30pm Tuesday Life - sometimes a series of shorter poses
Tuesday 2 - 4pm - Tuesday Still Life - 2 setups every week or make your own
Tuesday 7.15 - 9.15pm - Big Picture Life Group - 4 week poses, open to non-members
Wednesday 10.15am - 12.15pm - Portrait/Clothed Model
Thursday 10.15am - 12.45pm - Life/Clothed/Performance Model
Thursday 10am - 1pm - Printmaking, meets in the first floor studio and kitchen
Friday 10.15am - 12.15pm - Portrait/Clothed model
Friday 1 - 3pm - Art in the Afternoon, alternate weeks, talks and practical
Sunday 10 - noon alternate Sundays - Life / Still Life
Bond Group - Summer outdoor painting, once or twice monthly
