When Covid restrictions began in March 2020, we launched the first weekly challenge. This was ‘My Favourite Things’. The idea being that every week a theme would be set for members to produce their own interpretation of that theme and then send in for inclusion in our online photo album for all to see. The first theme was ‘My Favourite Mug’ which was followed by My Favourite Chair, Shoes, Hat, etc until by August we had got through 25 themes and produced 400 pictures for our album!
Now, we are continuing with fortnightly themes under the title of ‘Challenge2’. The themes are a little wider and perhaps more challenging but as an added incentive, a Jacksons Art voucher for £20 is awarded to one of the entries each month (drawn from a hat)
The winner for July was Phil Bevan for his 'interpretation of 'Dreams'.
